Change Customer Details after an invoice is paid

If a customer asks me to change their name in their customer profile so the invoice is addressed to the correct person, for some reason it doesnt change in the invoice. So i have to make them a new invoice, which reflects their correct  information. However, square doesnt allow one to completely delete an inovoice which is a problem because I'd like to use the some invoice ID, but I cant because its already used in the former invoice. So I have to use a new invoice ID number, and updated everything in various systems. 

So Square should allow customers info to be changed after making an invoice, and if not, at least allow me to delete the old one so I can use the same invoice number!

Same question, even unable to correct a customers info on an estimate after its been sent.  It seems the only way is to create a whole new one.  Please allow at least to remove the customer and reselect them, like you can on a new one that hasn't been sent yet.

This would be appropriate.

 

I have had customers purchase equipment but their landlord pays the invoice lets say because of a flood. 

 

Later on the Landlord is requesting to have the invoice in their name since they paid for the invoice. 

Even if it's a misspelling, if changes need to be made to an invoice we should be able to.  Quickbooks allows it.
