Looking to use appointments to schedule a pre order for a pizza or other pick-up.
- When you go to my website order page, I want customer to see or be directed to a calendar with time slots I assign.
- appointments / pick-ups start at 4:00 pm and end at 8:00pm with 2 slots per 30 minute interval.
- 4:00, 4:30, 5:00 etc.. and each slot represents a maximum of 1 product (or 1 pizza) every 30 minutes
- This is 2 max per 30 minutes
- Customer selects from "available" time slots shown
- Customer is redirected to product page and selects products and pays
- Calendar now shows slot is filled and the next customer order must choose from the next "available" open slot shown on the calendar.
- I want this calendar to be set up to pre order a week in advance if possible
- I would like to be able to start this 2 nights a week and open up more nights at a later date
- I want to be able to close or take any of the available slots not filled yet with an order on my end
- if a good customer calls and ask me to set up a slot or slots for next week (or any amount of future weeks) I would like to be able to do this for them.
In a bigger picture, if I can do 2 slots, can I do more is also another question?
I do not want the customer to go thru an ordering process only to then see available times for pickup after they placed their order. The available times for pick up is the first thing I want them to see.
It does not matter to me that the "service" is 30 minutes in length. The customer is told it is a "pick up" time.
I am trying to regulate the flow of scheduled pick ups so they do not conflict with other duties the kitchen is performing. I do not want to get involved in pre and post set up times that a system will use to calculate what I want to make available.
I do not do walk up or delivery, I only do scheduled pick up ordered a week in advance for certain products.
If Appointments will not allow this is there another approved calendar app that will facilitate this?Thanks!!
