No matter what I try I cannot get my “Book Now” button on my business instagram page. It was there, then it wasn’t and it won’t let me re-add it. The infuriating part is I can’t tell if it’s an issue on squares end or instagram. Or if I am doing something wrong or if the system is broken and I’m wasting hours of my time hopelessly trying to figure it out.
Things I’ve tried:
-Making sure instagram is updated.
-Making sure phone is updated.
-Making sure I’m an admin on my square dashboard (I’m the owner)
-Adding myself as an employee and giving myself admin permisssion, and using this to login to square appointments from instagram
-In Facebook business manager, ensuring that square appointments is listed as a user and given full permissions (idk how it got on there as a user, but it was there. I may have added it awhile ago or it might automatically do that when used)
-In Facebook business manager, ensuring that I am an admin and have full permissions
-In Facebook business manager, making my other business page a partner with my main business page in case if they share the add account, and then linking both ad accounts with both business pages.
-Deleting the other ad account for the business instagram page that I no longer use (I suspect that it may be linked to that ad account because it says I need permission from Ivy Piercing when my current page is Ivy Noir Piercing??) but it says it takes 3 days to delete it.
Nothing has worked. I’m at my wits end with it. Please help :’(

Yes, I followed those steps. I have a business Instagram profile. I go to edit profile > action button > book now > appointments with square > login > select location > confirm business Instagram profile I would like to link > it starts syncing > pops up saying “admin permission required”
