What's One Small Change That Increased Your Sales?

We always hear about big marketing strategies, but sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest impact.

What's one change you've made in your business that increased sales or customer engagement?

It could be a new display, loyalty program, social media post, product placement, signage, or something completely unexpected.

For us it was our brand new SIGN we put up!IMG_4083.jpg

That sign is absolutely gorgeous- I think the feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was last week.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Little obsessed with that giant Jesus statue in the window- I'm a religious collector (don't tempt me with a vintage chalk ware saint).

As for the question- we've been PUMPING social media content out left right and center and it definitely brings in customers.

Nobody likes to hear this, but expanding hours is almost always a revenue booster, but it must be done correctly to ensure you don't over spend. Sometimes it means more labour hours for the Boss in the beginning to drive the awareness of the expansion, but customer convenience is very important

Love the sign!

For us we put up a TV with a rotating slideshow of services we offer. Service sales shot up like crazy.

I guess people need to know what you offer ๐Ÿ˜‚

We are an e-commerce business.  We added a text box on our website for customers to text us about 6 years ago.  That increased our sales.  Customers also have the option to connect to us via text by calling in first and connecting to a virtual voice agent that will send a text first. Once the customer approves it, we'll communicate back and forth. This is required by law as you are not allowed to send unsolicited texts.

Last month we added a chat box which is different from texting because it does not require the customer's cell phone number.  The volume of chats that we get is probably ten times as much as the texts.  This really surprised us. The Chat Box is part of an AI virtual receptionist system that integrates into our website. Not only are people able to chat, the AI virtual receptionist responds back with accurate answers based on the information on our website and can provide links to different products and information pages if a customer inquires about something specific.  If for any reason the AI Virtual Receptionist does not have an answer, it will offer to take the customer's information for a call back from a live agent.
