Thank you Elisabeth! Iโm excited to join the Retail & e-commerce group. I am fairly new to the online world and need to make connects to grow my work in special education advocacy, coaching, and digital learning. My target customers are families with children with developmental disabilities, educators, and aspiring special education advocates.
I offer:
โข Special education courses: From the basics through advanced advocacy courses
โข Digital downloads and tools: Quick & easy tools to walk into IEP meetings prepared
โข Coaching and case consultation: Documents are reviewed by myself or my competent colleagues & action plans at no additional cost
โข Direct advocacy support: I will attend IEP/CSE meetings in person or virtually to work directly with families to resolve their concerns with their child's school or the school system.
I'm active on Substack, Teachable, and Instagram, and Iโm beginning to build a small but engaged community on each platform. I took down my Facebook site, but I do post to advocacy groups and parent groups I am a part of but I do not advertise my business there as I do not believe it is appropriate. However, if any of those members where to navigate to my page, they will be able to link to one of my other sites.
I want families to get the help they need without financial strain. My goal for now is to focus on sales of the courses and digital products so I can keep the costs for direct services low. I'd eventually like to leave my hired employment and do this full-time, so I need to replace my current salary. Guess that's another question, how do folks build an online business and maintain full-time work without burnout or ignoring your family as you are locked in your office starting at a computer!
