Import Shipping

I would like to know if anyone has any tips on how to get the best shipping rates for imports. I have DHL, UPS and FEDEX accounts that give competitive rates for domestic packages as well as to other countries. But no one is able to give me competitive prices for imports.

Hey @Amayur,

Thanks for being a part of the seller community! Hopefully some other sellers can share their experiences, and tips for imports.

I think for imports you need to speak with an import specialist- if you're in the USA I do have a recommendation. Air Imports are expensive. From my experience, most Chinese imports by air comes in via FedEx. Imports I have gotten from Pakistan have come DHL. My suppliers always pay shipping though so it isn't an issue for us.

We contract through 3 factories that sew for us.( they don’t sew exclusively for us).  Our rep at each factory shops the best shipping for us, we use FedEx, DHL and UPS which ever one I cheaper at the time of shipping.

You might give a look to Pirateship to ship things, they also do ups, in addition to the post office. Free to join! I have had great results with them. Good luck! Liberty-buttons, Arizona. 🙂
