How's your Black Friday weekend been?

Hey retailers! 

Just took a look at black friday weekend sales year-over-year and I'm thankful we're flat (although really flat is down since everything costs so much more).

But really- I thought with everything going on here in the States it would be so much worse...

How did everyone else do this past weekend?

We had a great sales weekend! Our Shop Small sales have gone down a bit from previous years, but the overall weekend has remained high. I think less chaos around actual Black Friday has been good for sales, and less traction for Shop Small has leveled. But overall a great holiday kick off weekend!

I'm in Australia and didn't really do a Black Friday sale but did want to do a sale around that time but unfortunately my online sales prices still aren't showing up on the website until you get to the checkout screen and it's now been weeks. I called on the day I was trying to set it up. We did a few things and they were going to get back to me. When they finally emailed they made it so customers were getting 2 lots of 30% off and the sale prices still weren't showing!! Luckily I fixed the stuff up so they only got 1 lot of 30% off but I want to be able to promote the sale and can't because the sale prices still aren't showing even though I've emailed a couple of times. I will call again this week, I just didn't have time to stuff around with it last week. I need to clear some stock, hence the sale, but Squares stupid system is preventing me from doing so. 😠😡

Our Black Friday weekend was solid. Granted, we have moved, so things are different. 

Black Friday was significantly higher than last year. 

Small Business Saturday was down a bit! (Thanks for shopping small people! 😡 😂)

Sunday was significantly higher than last year. 

So, can't complain. Don't know whether to contribute it to the economy (probably not) or the move (maybe), but we'll take it.

So glad to hear people had a decent weekend this past week seemed a little "soft" but we're still truckin'

My sales were stable.  That is to say, there was no increase over last year, but I wasn't in the hole.  The usual crowds were thin, and people were very cautious about their spending.  All things considered, I was relieved, which is a weird thing to say on what is normally a super busy weekend.
