What are you doing to bring customers in on slower holiday days?
Flash sales?
In-store specials?
Last-minute gift promos?
Events or extended hours?
Always fun to see whatโs working for everyone during the holidaysโdrop your ideas below! ๐โจ
@sacredheart926 At the ice cream shop (which is ALWAYS going to be slow this time of year!), we are moving to a new venue that will give us indoor service & seating instead of our current walk-up window service. Otherwise, from December through the first day of Spring every year, we offer our loyalty customers double points. So they earn rewards twice as fast!
Flash sales and In-store specials work well for holidays to attract customers.
We are doing extra events to generate some additional guests over the holidays. The month of October saw us do a chili cook-off, pumpkin painting and Halloween parties for for both kids and adults. November was filled with a tye dye workshop, whisky tasting and a motorcycle event. December brought us a painting party for adults, cookie decorating, Christmas Brunch with The Grinch and our NYE party.
All of this is outside our normal weekly operations. We are only open Friday - Sunday during the colder months and do lots of events to keep the excitement of walking in to see what we have going on this month.
January - looking forward to making bird feeders with the kids and having a local State Park ranger bring his owl and hawk for the guests to learn about as well as another painting party.
