Hi all! I’m hoping someone might know if there’s a way to set up a promotion where a customer receives a coupon after they spend a certain amount.
I’m thinking of doing a Christmas in July promotion where customers earn a coupon based on how much they spend in July, which they can then redeem during August.
For example:
🎄 Spend $50 → Get a $5 coupon
🎄 Spend $100 → Get a $15 coupon
🎄 Spend $150 → Get a $25 coupon
Ideally, I’d love for the coupon to be automatically issued after the qualifying purchase and only be valid during August.
Has anyone set up something like this before, or know if there’s a way to do it through Square?
If you have Square Loyalty you could setup a reward that would automatically issue the desired reward for each spending amount. That would automatically issue the coupon like you’re wanting. I haven’t played with the rewards program in years since my rewards have been set up a very long time but there should be a way to set an expiration date on them
Yes there is a way to do that I just did the promotion of however many points gets them to that coupon off. I do wish however there was a way to give a dollar amount coupon to them when they reach the dollar amount spent and that they couldn't redeem that reward till the next month!
Ok so i finally made it down to the shop and played with the coupons. You can set up dollar amount coupons that would be triggered by spending amount that can be set to valid for future dates. Can’t seem to find a simple way to trigger it by multiple spending levels though without having 3 different coupons and applying them manually to each sale
