Changes to Inventory Tracking Settings

Has anyone else noticed they no longer can change their Inventory Tracking settings? Up until today, I could switch back and forth between Track by Stock and Track by Availability but now all new items are Track by Availability and it doesn't give me the option to change it. If I change an existing item from Track by Stock to Track by Availability, it also doesn't give me the option to switch back.

You might have to clear your cache on your computer.  I find when my square gets a bit buggy i have to do that but i usually call support and they are very kind and patience with my lack of skill on a computer and walk me through it.  Hopefully it got fixed.

Hmmm...our inventory gets switched back and forth all of the time and no issues. We keep items just on the available status until they are getting down to the last small quantity and then BOH switches the tracking to the number of actual items (track by stock) left available so when the last one is sold it show as sold out. Once the reorder is complete, it gets switched back to available.

I'm not sure if its because I have multiple locations or if it's just the items I have with multiple variations, but on many items I can't change the setting for all of the items at once. It only gives me the option to turn off inventory tracking, but not change back to track by count. 

But, if I go into each variation, it does let me change it for each one separately. 

So, at least I've found a way to change it, it's just a bit more cumbersome than being able to change all of the items by location.
