An application to make adding inventory easier?

Hi all, 

I created a web based application for my old job where it allowed a user to:

1. scan a product bar code

2. retrieve product info and auto fill title/description

3. retrieve an image of the product

4. allow user to enter price/quantity received

5. save  to inventory

This basically cut the time to add a new product from 90 seconds to 10 seconds.

I was wondering if any other merchants would find a tool like this useful, and welcome any input or suggestions!

Anything to make adding a new item to inventory easier would be amazing!
