how do I see a list of customers and the answers to the modifiers?

Hi

I have created an event which has 4 modifiers, 1 of these are questions with a text answer and 2 are toggle yes or no. When I download a report all the answers and bunched together and it isn't clear which answer is for which question. How can I download a report that clearly shows the answer in separate columns?

@WoolacombePTFA So I'm going to throw out a couple of options.  Unfortunately, you said you downloaded "a report" but were not specific about which report.  I think I understand your question, though, and have a few options.

 

First, go to your web dashboard > Reports > Sales > Modifier sales.  Select the appropriate date range and run the report.  You should see the answers grouped by each of your modifier sets, along with counts for the Yes/No modifier sets.  I will admit to not having used text box modifiers, but I'm guessing that each of the free-format answers typed into those will be listed under the appropriate modifier set header.

 

You can also fire up Square AI (the little diamond at the bottom of the navigation pane on your web dashboard).  As an example, I have a modifier set called Toppings, so I asked Square AI to "Show me modifier sales for modifier "Toppings" during this month, grouped by modifier."  This returned me a count and total uncharges for each modifier chosen by a customer this month.  It also provides a convenient CSV download, if you want.

@WoolacombePTFA Aargh.  I'm sorry. I now see that your post asked about customers, too.  But I didn't see that in the body so I missed that, initially.  Do you need to know how each customer answered, or just counts/text of how they all answered?
