Hey guys, I have a shop that sells art prints by various artists. Each artist has their own top-level category so I can run reports targeting just their sales. I also have another top-level category called โAll Printsโ that each print is assigned to because I want to also be able to see how many prints weโve sold overall. But it seems you canโt run a report on a โnonreportingโ category. If thatโs the case, what is the point of being able to assign an item to multiple categories?
I tried running a custom report filtered by item name and then going through and checking the boxes beside each print name. There are hundreds, and this took FOREVER because the report was refreshing in the background with each new item I selected. When I was almost to the end of this, the website reloaded itself and I lost it all. Iโm beyond frustrated!! This seems like such a basic thing to be able to do. I found some articles about โrollupsโ but none of the instructions were correct and I canโt find anything about rollups in the dashboard. Any insight?? Thank you
Hey there, @Linus47 -
I want to make sure I am understanding what you're looking for when it comes to "nonreporting" category.
When you said you're looking for "All Print" are you looking for every item sold? If so, those totals will be at the bottom of your Item Sales on your Dashboard. Or is this a specific category you've setup?
I will keep an eye out for your reply๐.
