Need Corrections to 1099-K

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "1099 wrong changed square to new business"

 

Aug 2025 bought new business changed square I used at old business and changed it to new business. Everything came on old business 1099 and I sent bank statements showing the payments changed to the correct account. Will they send me new 1099 for both businesses or is this something I can fix myself?

You can update your Form 1099-K through your Square Dashboard on the Tax Forms page. You can start by updating your taxpayer information and ensuring your Square business name matches what the IRS has on file.

If you need any additional information corrected beyond what you can edit in Dashboard, you'll need to provide a bank statement. You can find additional details on the 1099-K correction process here in our Support Center. You'll need to submit a 1099-K correction request directly to our Support Team, so they can pass your documents along to our Tax Team for their review.

I have similar issue. 1099K issued to me as individual as supposed to my business.

 

I already submitted request to correct, also include the bank statement showing square deposits to the account.

 

Do you know what's the turn around time for the corrected 1099 K?
