I need a report that will show the receipt number.

I am looking for a report that will show the receipt number. I tried all the available reports.

Please note that I know how to search for the receipt number from the dashboard, but I can't see the RECEIPT # in any of the exported reports.

If not available, is there a logical reason for this? It seems to be the only field missing in the transaction.csv report

@fireinnovations As far as I know there is no standard report or CSV that contains the receipt number.  As far as logical reasons go, even if I knew one it wouldn't help you solve your dilemma.

I have a solution that I will suggest, and as far as I can tell it is the only IMMEDIATE solution you have available -- use ManagerBot/Square AI to create your own CSV.  If you are AI-phobic, then all I can say is that you need to submit a feature request here and then wait however many weeks or months it takes for it to work through the system.  Hopefully that's not the case and you will use any business tool that helps you run your business more efficiently. 😏

I fired up MabagerBot and gave it this instruction:

create an exportable csv of yesterday's transaction including the following columns -- date, time, amount payment method and receipt number (the number shown on printed customer receipts)

It returned this table, which can be downloaded as a CSV.  I'm using MB every day now to create ad hoc queries and reports like this, along with CSVs, when I can't do what I want to with the standard Square reports.  It's a great management tool.
