customising receipts and making them smaller

How do we get the receipt to be smaller? I need the receipt to be on 1 page not 2 so my clients can copy it to submit to their Health Fund. Also how do I get rid of the stupid smiley faces asking if their experience was good or bad. There also needs to be an option to preview the customised receipt. Currently I send a the receipt via text message to the client and they show me what the receipt looks like.

In Australia Health Funds are starting to ask for printed receipts not hand written ones and these will require to show the clients name and address. I cannot work out how to do this. I don't want to spent time at the end of a session filling out individual client information on every receipt.

Hey @vlee,

Thanks for reaching out. At the moment there is no way to edit the size of a receipt, however it should't take 2 pages to print - it sounds like maybe clients are printing digital receipts from a web browser and the page is including other elements of the web page when it's printing the receipt?

To work around this I recommend taking a screenshot of the receipt then printing the screenshot - this should avoid printing the entire web page and just print the image by itself, which itself won't take a couple of pages. Long term you may want to check out compatible receipt printers, which will print regular receipts!

If you'd like to turn off the feedback system on digital receipts check out this guide, and read more about customising digital receipts here. Unfortunately there is no way to automatically add a customer's name and address to a receipt - you'd need to add this information to the receipt before finalising the payment via the notes section.
