Takeaway - Search Customer By Address

Hi,

I have a takeaway business and when taking orders by phone or in person, I need to be able to search for customers by address quickly. All I can do is search by name but we have customers with the same name so makes it hard to differentiate between them. Does anyone know how can I search for customers by their address first?

Hi @Muzibur - thanks for your post!

Currently, searching for customers by address is not a built-in feature in Squares Customer Directory.

However, you can still streamline the process by following these steps:

Take the customer's order as usual.
Associate the customer's order with their account using their full name or email. (Or create a new customer then and there they are not already in your system).
Proceed to checkout.

Thank you for the response!

Is it possible to ask for an enhancement request to be able to search a customer by their address? We take phone orders and when putting the order into the EPOS, searching by address will make it easier to find returning customers as it is unique.
