Google Pay not working at checkout

Hi. I am having an issue with customers not being able to check out using Google Pay. Normal checkout is fine and it is activated. I have even tried it myself and when I click 'place order' it looks like it's thinking about it for a second and then just does nothing.

I have disabled them and switched them back on but have left them disabled for now as it is easier than having to explain to customers to use standard checkout!

I have searched for an answer but haven't found one (many about Apple pay but none about Google)

 

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues processing transactions using Google Pay. 

 

I'd be happy to help and look into this for you. Could you give me a bit more details about how you process payments - do you have a website or do you send checkout links to your customers? 

 

Do you know if the same issue is happening with Apple Pay?

I am sorry for the delay in replying. I have been off work poorly.

 

I use a .square.site website to process payments and as far as I'm aware it is just Google Pay, but I don't have anyone that could test Apple Pay for me to check.
