Descriptions not showing for my items

I have been busy creating my very first website for selling my jams and preserves. All my items are loaded in the item library (photos and descriptions), however, the descriptions are not showing on the website. What have i done wrong? Stock listings are all set up and syncing well with my terminal for in person sales. But I really want a description for each of items (currently only picture and price is visible to the customer).

Hi there, it’s all of the items! Not a single one is showing a description but they all have a description in the item library. On the website only the title, price and photo is showing.

Hi @Jamqueen, taking over JJ here 🙂.

It sounds like Description might not be turned on for your items. Could you access your Square Online Overview page, then:

1. Click on Website > Edit Website
2. Click on Home > scroll down to Item Pages in the drop-down > click on an item
3. On the left side menu, click on Item Details 
4. Scroll down to Content, toggle on Description
