Help

I'm hoping a Square Community moderator can help with an ongoing Account Services review.   I'm relatively new to Square, and this is now my second account review within just a few days.   The first was successfully resolved within approximately two hours, overnight.   On Friday, I received a legitimate payment from an established client triggering another review. I promptly submitted a fully executed agreement, electronic signature audit trail, client correspondence, and all requested business information.   Saturday evening, Square requested clarification on one response - just a simple question revision that doesn't seem material to the supporting documentation that is signed off, which I immediately corrected. Square acknowledged receipt, but my funds remain inaccessible.   Today, Support escalated my case as top priority and assured me Account Services would respond before the end of the day. Unfortunately, I've received no update.   I understand and respect Square's verification process, but two consecutive reviews and continued restrictions despite extensive documentation have been frustrating.   Could a Square moderator help check the status of my escalation or assist in getting the review finalized?   I'm happy to provide my escalation reference privately if necessary. Thank you! ... View more

I asked the AI chatbot today if it could help me find the holiday return policy that we used on our receipts last year. Within 2-3 minutes of that request, I had an email from a company I have never heard of starting off with my name and saying, "I came across Abode Rochester's 14-day return policy with the 20% restocking fee, and I imagine that keeps your team answering a steady stream of return questions on WhatsApp and in person..."   Given the timing and the fact that it is a Sunday afternoon, it leads me to believe that anything we ask in the AI chat is being shared with third parties for their own use. Can anyone confirm or deny this? ... View more
