KDS Used for Two Kitchens

We have just started testing KDS in our bakery because we are moving to a larger location. Our new space will have two kitchens, one for take-out and one for dine-in. Both kitchens will serve the same items so I was wondering if there is a way to prevent the take-out kitchen from getting the tickets for dine-in and vice versa.

Hey @baker14,

I reached out to our KDS team and they said you can select to only show online VS POS orders today but we don’t yet divide based on Takeout Vs Dine-in.

It seems like you should be able to make it work if all your takeout orders are placed by the customer online.

Thank you, I will wait to use it until the can integrate that setting. We take orders for take out  from both online and walk-in. This would be a great feature though. I know lots of kitchens that have to operate in different spaces based on size of their restaurants and having multiple floors.
