Restaurants: Has anyone figured out how to remove names from kitchen tickets?

When kitchen tickets print they display the “owner” of the Square account, which has to be the legal name of the person who set up the account. You have to create a whole new account under a different person to change that, which I definitely don’t have an interest in doing.

But it’s jarring & inconvenient for the kitchen tickets to display my deadname. Has anyone found a way to remove the “owner name” from showing on kitchen tix? Thanks!

To add to this, my employees know me by my real name, my chosen name. So it’s unfortunate to have my legal name show up on receipts and have to navigate the question of who that is, especially because it takes the first name. Having our LLC name displayed if need be would be much more convenient.

Hey @SaintPerpetuaOR, I touched base with the Restaurants team and we wanted to be sure — can you sign into the online Square Dashboard and confirm that your restaurant's name is saved in the Personal Information section? For step-by-steps, check out this article: Edit Your Business Name.
