My husband and I started the company 12 years ago out of personal need to find a silicone Lubricant to which he didn’t have a reaction. He’s a scientist and business genius. We both had sales and management experience so it was an obvious choice after he received a terminal brain disease diagnosis back in 2009. He was having multiple seizures a day. Horrible. So we focused on identifying and developing a lube that was pure without harsh chemicals and didn’t stain. We worked with experts in the field and came up with what we thought was amazing. Some people we shared it with also thought it was so good we should market it. We had met online in an AOL chat room (dating ourselves) 16 years ago and jokingly said “let’s call it 9X6 pure silicone lubricant.” Six months later, fresh off the bottling line, we became Folsom Street Events exclusive lube for six years until we decided to leave the Bay Area and move to Palm Springs. The lube is worldwide and business is still growing. We have always supported the community. Any nonprofit who asks for donations or product for fundraisers receives usually more than expected. It’s just another lube until you get it on your … hand 😉 and feel the difference. Look forward to networking with other people and continuing to grow with and support others in the community.
