why is my tax ein # not matching my business name? I keep getting an error message

I have been trying to set up my tax info with my new ein # and it is not working. Why do I keep getting an error message saying it does not match or it cannot connect to the irs? I've tried my ein# with both my business name and my personal name follwed by the sole MBR and it is not working. Do you addd the dash in the ein# too or no? and which address are you supposed to type in the business address or personal? what happens with taxes if I cannot get it to work? I do not want a  1099k made for my personal ss# because I am a LLC and would like it to be made for the business ein#

When did you sign up for your new EIN number?  Maybe it is too new to show up since you are stating your New EIN #...?  Since the IRS and Square are not connected instantly this could take some time to register your new EIN #.  You may need to contact support for this, because this is an account specific question.

I just got my ein # a week ago. I did call support for square but all I got was some unanswered questions and was told she was going to call me back and never did.

I have seen some others say the same thing about support not calling back, you may need to call them again.
