why after i created and added a product and published my site does it say item is unavailable?

I created and added my first product, a t-shirt, set the colors and sizes and the inventory amounts and when I saved and published my site when clicking on the product regardless of what size or color you select the button is greyed out and says unavailable. I am frustrated to the point where i have no issues leaving square and going elsewhere if this is not a quick fix. constant issues only shows that it's not the best option for people to choose to sell products.

Solution

Go back into the item where you set it up and scroll down to almost the bottom of the page and make sure you have shipping selected in Fulfillment. Most of the time that is what makes an item show up as not available. Also while you are there make sure the item is set to Visible and not Hidden. 

 

If Fulfillment was the problem, go into the shipping settings and make sure shipping is set up correctly.
