I'm having an issue with my items reverting back to the way they were before I saved edits.
I sell a handmade item, so when one sells I go into the listing an update it with details for a new item. I have about 100 items saved and I just keep changing them as needed. I just spent several hours updating many items to reflect changes and about a dozen of them just reverted back to the way they were previously with the exception of the photos - so the titles and descriptions have changed back and they all went to 0 stock and unavailable. What's going on????
HI, it would seem to be easier to edit a previous listing but, with an ecommerce website all previous information is actively being used for backend purposes. (It's not like eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Etsy etc where you can reuse the listing).
You sell one of a kind items, once the item sells it can live as Out of Stock on your site (which is a good thing). Why? It is already established with all the web crawlers. It will draw in new customers. Yes, I understand you only have one. Once the customer arrives at your store, they can shop around (which is a good thing).
Best advice, on iOS you can use the Notepad to keep your template information to reuse, to copy & paste. Create files for the images you reuse. Do not reuse listings.
