the sales tax isn't calculated

The sales tax was applied on shipping address for shipping, but not for pick up orders from our local store. Please help.Thanks

Hello @lm64 I'm sorry this happened to your customer. Do you know, was the order specified as a shipping order, or pickup order? There should be a way to configure your online store to allow for this choice. Maybe even if pickup was selected, the tax rate pulled from the buyers home address? You can also double check your locations settings; and setup a pickup location with the tax rate assigned for your pickup location.

Go to your Dashboard > Online > Settings > Sales Tax and check your location/settings. Here is some more info about tax rates. I hope this helps answer your question.

Also on the checkout page for pickup, I only see the first, last name and email address, but there is no field for shipping information.

Just want to confirm if you checked out @HC_Charlie's amazing response. Also I'm sure you do, but the tax settings for pickup are turned on? 

The pickup information not showing. And tax not applying has this happened more than once?
