Quick question, I have a UK based website, but occasionally just need to send a Square checkout link to a customer, say for a commission piece. Until recently, all of these have been for UK based customers (where I don't charge postage), but I had a US customer recently and I wasn't sure what happens about adding postage. Do I send a link with the total amount including postage or does the postage get added once the customer clicks the link (the same as if purchasing directly from my website). Also, on the Square help page for Online Checkout it states that checkout links are only for domestic sales, not international sales, so wanted to check if this is still valid please. Thanks for your help. Elaine

			Hi @elliestreasures 👋
My understanding is that the Online Checkout links will follow the shipping rules setup from the Square Online dashboard under Fulfillment > Shipping
I will need to get some clarification on whether or not you can use the checkout link for an international order. I thought it was possible, but I could be wrong.
I'll let you know what I find out. 😊
Thanks for coming back to me Bernadette, I hope you're able to find out about Int'l orders. Elaine

Hey @elliestreasures, I'm just stepping in for @BernadetteA here!
I tested on my end here and when you create a checkout link to sell an item, the links will follow the shipping rule setup from the Square Online dashboard under Fulfilment > Shipping. So in this case, rather than creating a link with the total amount including postage, you can also setup a Shipping Profile for international customers. This way, when customers outside of the UK purchase from your site, they'll see the appropriate shipping rates.
I hope this will help!
Wonderful, thank you so much. What threw me was Square's "Get Started with Square Online Checkout Links" page as it states "Note: ... only available for domestic sales. If you'd like to sell online internationally ... take a look at Square Online (Store)". Perhaps this is out of date information?

Thanks for flagging that @elliestreasures! I've shared it with the appropriate team so we can update the article accordingly.
You're welcome. Thanks for all your help, and @BernadetteA too.
