ring sales with windows app

is it possible to use square app on a windows based POS. I would like to ring sales but not take payment.

Welcome to Seller Community, @urbanwear. You can do that with Square's Virtual Terminal, which works in the browser allowing you to use your PC as a POS system.

So what you are saying is that i can use the square pos app on my pc and use it like i would on an ipad? Ring in person sales as my current pos?

@urbanwear - You can't download the app to your windows computer, Instead, log into the Online Dashboard > Virtual Terminal to collect payments. Note: the Virtual Terminal is not set up like the POS app - you'll be missing some features exclusive to the app.
