Hi, when our guys do a transaction on the square stand, after its complete a screen pops up saying about how do you wan your receipt text or email etc. or press top left New Sale and the screen goes back to default menu for the next sale. BUT when it gets busy the guys scan a drink without looking on the ipad stand and the previous screen is still there for a period of time about 30 seconds. the bar code scanner beeps and they think they have scanned that item. but it does not. My question is how do i 1 - adjust the time the receipt screen is up or disable receipts as we dont issue receipts in our club unless its wanted and then you can do that via transactions etc.
Can a user adjust the amount of time the receipt or customer screen stays active? can it be turned off? thank you

While you can't customise the amount of time the receipt screen stays active, you can turn off the receipt screen if you're finding that most customers don't ask for it, or you're busy. In your app, go to More > Settings > Checkout > Signature and Receipt. From here, toggle on Skip receipt screen.
