problem with customer's email address entry being altered by the site

I created a contract template and sent it to a customer. When the customer entered their email to get a link to the contract sent to them, the first letter of the email address disappeared from the input box, and the email was confirmed sent to the customer's email address... minus the first letter.  When the customer described to me what was happening, I assumed it was operator error, but I traveled to the customer's home and saw what the web site was doing, firsthand.

I was able to solve the problem temporarily by having the customer enter their email address with the first letter entered twice. However, obviously, this probably needs to be fixed. I can tell you that I had tested everything on an iPhone and had no problem whatsoever. However, the customer was using an Android phone, so I am wondering if that was the problem, some conflict between Android phone or perhaps the Android Gmail app and the Square website.  I definitely need this resolved soon.  I'm not sure how to contact Square directly about it, but I assume they monitor these boards and will see what I have posted.  I love the Square offerings, but this is a problem I definitely need solved ASAP.

Hey @sharlas76! Welcome to the Seller Community 🎉

Really sorry to hear about this issue. Do you happen to have a screenshot from the customer of the error? Do you know what their exact Android device is?

I'd like to file a ticket with our Engineering Team - but I'll need a bit more information first.

Isabelle,  I apologize, but I do not know what Android device it was. Probably a Samsung phone from Verizon, since that’s who mostly serves that area. It appeared to be pretty ordinary. I should have videoed the incident with my own phone, but unfortunately I didn’t. Like I said, the email address was entered correctly, and then when the guy clicked to submit, the first letter of the email address disappeared right there on the screen. I’ve done some fairly extensive web development myself and had never seen anything like it.
