offline payments expire after 24 hours?

is there any truth to the claim that any offline payments drop off your account after 24 hours and you use all ability to get approval for the charge?

 

since yesterday’s absolutely massive outage i have two offline payments that were processed at 119 pm PT and i am wondering if these will be lost revenue. 

 

i am hoping not because this is 100% on square.

Hi @thefixonwheels.  Square seems to be mostly working again.  I’m hoping that by now you’ve had a chance to reconnect to the internet and get those offline transactions processed.  If you are in the Eastern time zone you still have an hours and a half to do so!  Best of luck.

that’s not the issue. it’s whether square will actually honor the offline transactions beyond 24 hours from time of charge if it took nearly 24 hours for them to get back online. 

 

square seems to be evasive about this. simple question. no answer.
