huge text on edit pages

For months now, the text on my Weebly website editor has been really huge - see screenshot - it's impossible to work with, I have to navigate by guesswork. Can anyone help me fix it back to normal function, please? I have had the site for 12 years, with no problems previously.

The actual site looks fine - it's just the editor.

Thanks for reaching out, @u3astudent 👋

Your screenshot is showing a display error with the editor text. This is most likely due to the browser or browser version you are using. Do you have a different browser you can test out? Preferably in private or incognito mode.

This is what I see using an incognito window in Chrome:

That's really weird, @u3astudent

I downloaded Firefox on my computer to test and was able to open the editor without issues, all headings were the usual size.

Although we do recommend using Chrome for the best experience, Firefox is a supported browser, so the editor should work as expected.

I would recommend visiting the support page for Firefox for additional troubleshooting information.

Thank you.

Frances, I solved it - by ticking the 'let the page decide font size' option in Firefox Settings - see screenshot.

Thanks so much for your help, guys - very much appreciated 🙂

Thanks so much - yes, it works perfectly in Chrome.

Is there any way to get it behaving properly in Firefox again, do you think?

I use it for 2 other pages, club sites, so pretty often - it would be great not to have to keep swapping browsers - but if that's what's needed, so be it... at least it's fully functional again. Thankyou! 🙂

Hello @u3astudent 👋

If you are using Firefox 106+ on macOS or Windows, the Editor should be working without issues. It's always a good idea to check for updated versions of your web browser, as security updates are launched all the time.

I would also suggest clearing your cache and checking your zoom settings on the browser. Zoom settings affect only the tab you apply them to, so it's possible Firefox is zooming in when you open the editor, but not other pages.

Let me know if these suggestions work!

Thank you

Hi Frances.

No, my Firefox is on Windows 10 and kept updated, and I've cleared the cache etc, but it doesn't help.

If I try to down-size with zoom settings, it minimises the whole page but leaves the huge headings alone...
