I accepted a cash payment and accidentally put too many zeros. How do I change the amount received?

Firstly, welcome to the Seller Community + sorry to hear that you're here because you've run into trouble.

At this time you are not able to update an already settled transactions. In order to balance your books you would have to refund this transaction and process the correct amount.

Important note: Square doesn't report cash transaction to the IRS so this would only affect how your reporting looks.
