app update has blocked out clock and other info

after the most recent update I noticed a few design changes to the receipt screen, loyalty sign up etc. 


The most annoying one is that the bar at the top completely blacks out the clock. is there a setting on the ipad I should change to be able to see the clock again?

Also is there a way to make the picture that shows on the receipt screen be the default background for the screen where we enter passcodes?

I am not seeing your issue, as I do see the clock on the login screen in the upper left corner of my Ipad.  In case it matters, I am currently on 6.77.2so of the software, but keep in mind, I'm in a couple of betas, so my version might not match your version.   I would suggest maybe doing an uninstall of the app and then re-installing the app from the Apple store to see if that fixes your issue.   Otherwise, I would suggest contacting Tech Support.

I do NOT see a way to add your logo to the receipt screen.  You can do it on the customer facing screen of the register, but I don't think there is a way to do it on the IPad.  Am I wrong gang?

The photo of our store is now showing up again on the receipt option screen! I'd still love for that to be the background again on the clock in screen too but I'll take the win.

Yes, the changes to the receipt screen, tip screen, and loyalty screens have been a point of contention around here. Hopefully the dev team is working on changing things again for a future release. 

As for the black bar, I’ve seen that happen a few times with updates in the past. The bar should be there, it is on my tablets. Try signing out, restart, and signing back in and see if that clears it up. 

Lastly for the logo on the login screen: that option was removed a few revisions ago so that there would be a “standardized screen” on all square loads. Not a good move IMO, but I’m hoping that there’s some development in the works to bring back something customizable on this screen at some point.

Thanks Ryan, as that is how I was remembering it as well.  The option was removed a few versions ago and I too think that it would be nice to have, if the businses wants to enable it.  Maybe a feature request?

@SVLFever I believe there is a feature request for it on the forum already, but I haven't had the chance to dig for it. 

Even if the system had the login number pad moved to one side and the stock logo displayed on the other that would work, although I really miss the full screen picture with the number pad overlaid. It really helped brand the POS to our stores.
