add a TXT record to your DNS zone file.

Apple want verification of our new website, and the only way I can see this working is to add a TXT record to our DNS zone file.  I can't see anywhere to do this ?  Apparently I get one from "Domain Validation" and add this (however that works)

Can anyone help please ?

Hi @alangornall 👋

Can you share some more details about what you are setting up here? Is it a Workspace or something similar?

Once I know more, I'll have a better idea of how to assist here, thanks.

Hi

I'm trying to set up a Business profile and website link on Apple Business Connect so we appear on Apple maps.

But as we are not a Ltd company or charity (We are a flying club) I dont have any documentation to send them to verify we are genuine.  So the only way to verify the website is to "add a TXT record to our DNS zone file."  When I follow Apples instructions and go to the website editing, they say click on the Domain Validation link, but there isn't one !   Then apparently I get a TXT code to copy into a file on our Weebly website - again I cant see anywhere I can do this !

Hope this helps a little !

Thanks

Thank you for the details @alangornall

You can do this by logging into your account, navigating to weebly.com/home/domains, clicking on your domain, selecting "Edit" in the DNS records section, and adding a new record.

Set the type to TXT, the Host to @, and paste the TXT record value into the "Points To" field.

Finally, republish your site.

I hope this helps!
