Our square pos (we use the square iPad app as a pos) is routinely losing connection to both wifi and printer. We’ve tried everything to resolve. Some prove a temporary solution but eventually the problem resurfaces. Even when the iPad shows connection to the wifi, when we launch the square app it goes into buffering mode for a long period.
is anyone else experiencing issues? We are beginning to think this may be a square app issue.

Sorry to hear you're running into this and thanks for letting us know.
There are no know issues that we are aware of at the moment.
The first points to check here would be:
-Ensure your iPad running the latest version of iOS.
-Ensure that your iPad and the WiFi printer are on the same network.
-Delete and reinstall the app altogether.
Let me know when you have a chance to run through those steps and if you could also let me know what model iPad and printer you have? Also, are you using the general Point of Sale app vs the Square for Restaurants / Retail app?

Hi @TCL-2022, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue with your printer. Have you tried what @Breffni suggested above? This may be caused by the iOS version of your tablet or your network or the Point of Sale not being updated. Here are some printer troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve it too.
We've noticed that if you have a reader attached that's playing up/faulty (as many are - we're sending back around 4 per week) this causes connectivity issues. We have 9 x ipads that we have to check the readers for each day.
