Why when there is an update to the terminal do I lose my settings?

It sure would be nice to know when an update is coming and what it's going to do!  Also it wouldn't reset my settings tat would be great. If I'm not in the shop girls don't know how to fix it....

While some updates may change how the hardware and software behave they shouldn't reset your settings. If this is the case with you then I would suggest reaching out here when you have a chance so our hardware team can take a look at how your Terminal is behaving.
