Hello, square newbie here!
I noticed on customer bills that the total printed out for the bill is not the total collected from the square terminal.
an example today the customers food bill printed out to be from the square stand and the total was $32.07.
our square terminal which is synced to our pos stand charged only $31.94 when we selected the customers table.
Hopefully you guys can provide me some insight into this discrepancy as I can’t wrap my empty melon around it 😛

Your Square Stand and Terminal are synced or connected? Connected in that the terminal is a customer-facing screen for your stand or synced in that they are both connected to the same location?
If both your stand and terminal serve the same location, I still think that the transactions would only show what was processed on that specific device. I could be wrong!

Sorry for the delayed reply, Ill show you in pictures as I'm guessing I didn't explain it well. Please find the pictures attached and look at the break down of pricing on the screens. Im using the square register as well as the portable hand held terminal which sync to each other. It is not the customer display for the register. Thanks in advance!
