Why can't I add a pricing to a new menu item?

Does anyone else get this message when adding a menu item to your library?   I am the owner and I set up this library.  No issue until today... "You are not authorized to manage items at one or more active locations for this item, therefore some editing features are disabled."

Hey @LittleBirddeli.  Hmmm.  I’ve not seen any recent issues pop up here about item maintenance, and issquareup.com says everything is 100% green.  I’m wondering if something in your browser memory, history or cookies has gotten garbled and just needs to be reset.  Try this.

 

  1. If you are currently signed into your dashboard at squareup.com, sign out.
  2. Close/Force-close your browser
  3. Clear your browser’s history and cache — everything.
  4. Just because we are doing the nuclear option, reboot your computer/device.
  5. Re-open your browser and sign back into your online dashboard and try to edit an item now.

Hopefully you will find that whatever glitched was cleared out and you can get back to work.  Let me know whether this worked or not.
