Why aren't my Square Appointments syncing with my Google Calendar?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Google calendar not syincing with Square.

When I put an appointment into Square on my phoneit isn't syncing to Google Calendar. Are there any known issues?

Hi @Trevor_st! Thanks for your post.

We haven't received any recent reports of Square Appointments > Google Calendar syncing issues. 

 

If you’re not seeing your events sync properly between calendars, please try the following steps:

  1. Make sure your device is running the latest software version (iOS or Android).
  2. Check the app store to ensure you're running the latest version of the Square Appointments app. 
  3. On a web browser, sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Appointments.

  4. Click Settings > Calendar & Booking.

  5. Under Manage Calendar Sync, click ••• next to your exported or imported calendar(s).

  6. Click Refresh Calendar.

 

If the above steps don't resolve the issue for you, please reach out to our Support Team, so they can take a closer look into this for you.

Ibthink I saw something regarding updating iPhone which prevents syncing. Do you know of anything g?

I haven't heard anything about that @Trevor_st–sorry! If you follow the steps outlined above, are you able to refresh the calendar?

Hi Katie. Yes I have.

I’ve deleted and re-installed the mail account on iPhone and it seems to have cured it, fingers crossed.

We haven't received any recent reports of Square Appointments > Google Calendar syncing issues. 

Not being able to help the user with specific troubleshooting is one thing, but let's at least be honest. Square is absolutely receiving reports of sync issues between Appointments and Google Calendar.
