It might be a store you went to that uses Square as a payment processor.  Maybe the business you bought from used Square to charge your credit card.  Square does not charge consumers an  only charges Businesses a small % of the amount being charged.  What I am letting you know is Square would not be trying to charge you but a Small business that uses Square might be.  I know my Receipt has my business name on it but I am not sure what a customer would see on their Credit Card statement when they Purchase from me.  Does it show just Square or does it show Square (Business Name) somewhere?
