Which app should I use?

I’m confused about which Square app is best for me to use. I have both the Square POS app and the Square for Retail app, but which one is most appropriate. We have a small gift shop that sells apiary products, both in person and by phone, and also have a WooCommerce based online shop. We eventually want to use the Square integration forWooCommerce so inventory syncs between the 2 channels, but waiting until after holiday sales. We have been using Epos Now as our POS, but adding WooCommerce integration to that requires a monthly fee in addition to the basic monthly fee.

we recently started using Square for credit card transactions only. We have a Square terminal in the shop, but if we want to use Square as our POS, it makes sense to do a Square stand with iPad. But which app do we want to use?

@Syost hi! I hope that you are able to fully switch to square! I absolutely love it and k know it has worked for so many different types of businesses for many years! 
I would say if you have an iPad with the apps play with both and see which interface seems more user friendly for you and your team. Then make your decision and go with it!

Thanks! There are some differences that are confusing….like Saving a Cart in the Retail app versus Open Ticket in the POS app. The main thing is which one works best with the WooCommerce integration….

@Syost Totally understand! I am not familiar with woocommerce so unfortunately I have no words for you on that aspect! We use the POS on our register for our tea and coffee shop. It’s what works best for us right now but perhaps retail is better for you! You could mess with imtegrating woocommerce into it before taking it to your shop and setting it up as your POS.  See if you have any major problems.
