Where did the $5 test run funds go?

What happens to the 5 dollar charge I ran on my contactless card reader? I used my friends debit card it said the payment processed and she got a receipt.. but when I looked for the funds in my bank they weren’t there. Square said something about a 25 dollar minimum fee???? So what happens to the 5 bucks? @ Links to members
