When will square offer solution to compete with stripe

Is there any plans to compete with stripe?

Square is far superior and cheaper product. I don't understand why they don't offer solution for marketplace platforms like Kickstarter, Airbnb and small startups to offer square as payment option next to stripe or PayPal.

We'd love to be available on as many different platforms as possible - ultimately though it's up to the various platform owners as to which payment systems they use for their products. So Kickstarter and Airbnb would need to add Square as a payment option on their platforms for this to happen. We provide our payment APIs free for anyone who wants to use Square as a payment option, but each different company is free to chose who they use as a payment provider.
