Weebly website - embed codes not working

Hello, I have built a website for a charity on weebly.com, based in the UK, and the embed codes that click through to another website where people can make donations are not showing on the live page. Actually, one donation button is visible, but this clicks through to the incorrect donate page, despite having within it the correct information! The codes are visible on the back end of the site. Here's the site in question https://www.mitchellsmiracles.co.uk/live-appeals.html. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi there

I haven't published a Weekly site yet but would very much like to help given the great work your charity does. Couple of questions / suggestions to help get you live:

1. What embed option are you choosing?

2. Are you adding a URL to the buttons to take visitors to a Square online payment page?

3. I can see two buttons on the page - one doesn't have a destination specified and one links to a CAF page. Are you adding a button manually and then linking to a Square payment page? May be that your changes in draft need to be published in order to be visible on the live site - obvious I know, but worth mentioning.

Finally, I can see Weekly has a Donation section which might better suit your goal - means visitors can donate right on the page without clicking off. You can do that from the Add Section menu.

Happy to jump on a call tomorrow if I can be of any further help.

Thanks

Matthew

Hi Matthew

Thank you so much for your offer of assistance. Fortunately, I have been able to scrap the use of the embed codes and instead use buttons and link to their individual donate pages using their website URL's. Much easier!

Do you know anything about how to change the font colour on the shop pages, knowing that would really help me out.

When you're in edit mode, look for the Site Design button which should be at the bottom left of the browser window. From there, add your custom colours as Secondary colours. Those colours will then be available to choose from when you click on each of the font types - Title, Background etc.

Hope that helps and good luck with it.

Apologies for the late reply. Thanks very much for your answer, but the website I'm working on is Weebly, not square, so your instructions don't apply to me. ☹️

Hey @PerfectLayout, I'm just jumping in for a moment here! Have you had a chance to check out the Weebly Community? The team there may be better equipped to help you with the issue you're running into with your Weebly site.

I use embed code  and have the IMAGE linked to where ever. Works like a dream   Suggest your code is wrong. This is not a weebly problem
