Weebly link to standard page not working

Hi, I am new here and I have seen multiple problems related to this topic, but they are from like 2020 or older, so here I am...

My weebly website has multiple so called "standard pages". I want to create a link on my home page that transfers me to a different standard page.

I managed to create buttons that seem to work fine.

However if I want to create a link just from text, nothing happens after I click it on the published website. It does show me the correct link when I am on the website editor, and there the link works. Just not on the published website.

thanks for your message. In the meantime, I have found a workaround that makes the link functional.

If I add an empty text box (see blue arrows in screenshot) on the left and right side of my text box containing the link, the link (see red mark in screenshot) works.

Once I remove both empty text boxes, the link does not work anymore. It still shows that the standard page is correctly linked, but cant be clicked on the published website.

I am pretty positive there is a bug related to this link issue.

thanks for your response.

In the meantime I have found a workaround to make the linked text functional again.

The workaround:

If I add an empty text box on the left and right side of my actual text box containing the linked text, the link works on the published website.

Once I remove both empty text boxes, the link stops working again on the published website. Nothing was modified on the link or text itself, just added both empty text boxes on left and right side.

I am positive that this is a bug related to linked text only. Buttons and other links work fine.

May I ask a quick guide on how I can send you a screen recording or screenshots?
