Verifying my square account

As I am verifying my square account, as the next steps its to set up payments. It says I cannot accept payment because I have not been approved to accept payments with Square. What can I do to fix this? Or should I just remake a new square account? My tap to pay also isn't working and I think thats the reason why...

Is yours a new Square account?  Did you add a bank account and you're waiting on verification, or did you input all the necessary account info like EIN?  Not sure, but maybe check there?
