Variable Discounts not Showing

Hello! We seem to be having an issue where we have created the discounts that are required for our business, but the variable % discounts are not showing on the POS. Not sure why but would love some feedback! Simple step but often overlooked - Did you try logged out then back into the app? Sometimes syncing can glitch btwn Dashboard and the POS app. Signing back in serves as a refresh.

@JustinC hey there! So we did the logout and login but this did not show the missing variable discount codes. Please advise.

Jumping in here for @JustinC today, @JPWilkinson!

Variable discounts will not show up at the bottom of your item screen - only discounts with a set percentage will. To apply a variable discount, you'll need to select it from the Discounts menu of your POS, and add it to the sale.

Once you've selected your variable percentage discount from your Discounts menu, and have applied it to the cart, the variable discount will apply to all items in the cart. If you only want the variable discount to apply to a specific item in the cart, you can then select items you do not want to discount and toggle OFF the variable discount. The total discount will only apply to the items where the discount remains applied.

Ugh - that's rather cumbersome... We will probably go back to setting out incremental percentage discounts then - since these discounts need to be done on the fly, and quickly - during service. Sigh.
