The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: cannot provide a secure connection
Hi there. No one can visit my site. When I try to go to it I get the following error:
www.trophymastershtx.com sent an invalid response.
As @TheRealChipA said I also was able to get on your site and did a screen shot which shows your site is secure. What makes you believe No one can get to your site? If people are telling you this it might be as Chip says with their device or Security settings where they are logging in. Firewalls, VPN services, there are a bunch of different reasons that people setup to protect themselves and One or more of these could be the on the persons device Protecting them but also blocking them. Even if they block all cookies or denyied cookies to their device which could be a reason.

@TrophyMasters I just visited your site and I was able to view and navigate it. It shows the SSL lock icon. That makes me think that whoever can’t access your site is having a problem on their device, not with your site.

I'm having the exact same issue with my website, it happed around the same time as this thread began and I also have a godaddy domain. My website is youkneadspace.com - no one has been able to access my website for weeks. I'd really appreciate if someone can tell me how to fix this before I lose all of my clients. Thank you
Taking a look into this now!
ty! Also, in square under domains it shows that my website is connected however, when I click the manage button it tells me that the domain is disconnected.
Hi, @LisaMarie3 !
it looks like some of your DNS records are still propagating. An online specialist went ahead and retried your SSL certificate, which can help speed up the process, but they are advising to just give it another few hours or so to propagate and your SSL should activate.
thanks! I hope thats the problem! It's been showing me that message for almost a week. I'll keep checking and will msg back if its still not up. Thanks for your help!
Sounds good. Please tag me using the "@" and then my username so I get the alert quicker 😄
@Summer2024 Just checking back in - My website is still down. If theres anything else you can think of please let me know
Thanks for checking in - @LisaMarie3 . I just re-escalated this to our Online team. I'm wondering if there is a disconnect between godaddy and square.
@LisaMarie3 - just updating here. I am on the Online team's behind to hopefully get this sorted by today.
@LisaMarie3 - It looks like your DNS needs a few updates and this is likely why the SSL certificate is stuck when it's trying to be issued. The CNAME record is entered a little differently than how it should be and there is also an extra A record set for www. which is likely from when domains previously required two A records.
You will want to remove the A record that is underlined in the photo and update the CNAME to match what's on the setup domain photo as well.
Hello. We're having what I assume is the same problem. We also have a godaddy managed domain and see the same messaging as the user above under the domain section of the square account. I logged into godaddy trying to figure out what the problem could be but don't seem to have what the above user has going on. We have only 1 A record, looks like the website is listed correctly under our CNAME but all the TXT lines do look quite different. Our website is schoolandofficesolutions.com.
I first wanted to welcome you to the Square Community, @TrophyMasters! It is a great place to get your Square questions answered in a public forum. Secondly, I also took a look at your website and everything loaded as it should.
As @Candlestore and @TheRealChipA mention, not being able to view a particular website could be caused by a variety of things and is unique to each user. From our standpoint, it looks like your website is secure and good-to-go. Have you tried to access your site from different internet connections and devices?
Since all three of us were able to access the site I assuming it is something (like your internet connection or device) blocking the site, but if not, GoDaddy also may be able to assist if it is domain related.
If for some reason you keep encountering this, please let me know and I can take another look into this for you.
Hi, @TrophyMasters ! Are you still havnig secure connection errors with your website? Just following up to make sure everything is working properly!
Hi @Summer2024 unfortunately we are not able to do it from our own network....I believe it is an issue with our internet provider's firewall. We are working on trying to get it resolved. Thank you!
